7. Delete the APK file from your downloads folder once the app opens correctly; it serves no further purpose and it occupies space.

8. Turn the unknown-source permission back off.

If the install fails repeatedly, the cause is usually storage or an incompatible Android version rather than a corrupted file. Check both before downloading the package a third time and spending data on it again.

This is the comparison most readers actually need, and the honest answer is that the app is not automatically better.

The app keeps you signed in, delivers notifications, and generally handles repeat visits with less loading. The mobile site costs nothing to install, occupies no storage, updates itself, and works identically on a borrowed phone. Make it a routine. Once a month, open the operator's download page, compare the version number to the one in your app's settings screen, and install the newer build over the old one if they differ. Your account lives on the operator's servers, not on your handset, so reinstalling does not put your balance at risk.
